Dr James Briggs is a consultant interventional and diagnostic radiologist at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading, UK. His work specialises in the diagnosis of cardiovascular and respiratory disease and endovascular therapy.
After gaining a degree in Medical Physics from UCL, London, Dr Briggs qualified in Medicine from the University of Leeds in 2007, taking up a training post in Radiology at Oxford University Hospitals. He remained in Oxford to undertake specialist training in radiology and a further subspeciality fellowship in interventional radiology, gaining entry to the subspecialist register in 2015.
Dr Briggs’ research interests include AI and technology in healthcare, vascular imaging and endovascular therapy.
